NRC-IRAP Announces New $20M Pilot Program: Business Innovation Access Program
The Minister of State (Science & Technology), Greg Rickford, and the President of the National Research Council (NRC) were in Brampton, ON to announce a new 2-year pilot funding program called Business Innovation Access Program.
Canadian Government Grants to Support Innovative SMEs
Business Innovation Access Program (IRAP- BIAP) is a new Canadian government grants program that leverages the networks and knowledge of the NRC’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) to help connect small to mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) with universities, colleges and other research institutions in order to overcome obstacles to realizing commercialization of new products and services.
Government Grants Canada: Eligible Activities
Included within the set of activities eligible for Canadian government funding are external business services:
- Planning and Marketing
- Technical Services
- Specialized Testing
- Product Prototyping, and;
- Process Development
Business Innovation Access Program the Latest among Programs Aimed to Promote Innovation
