LaunchPad $50K Entrepreneurial Competition
The Golden Triangle Angelnet (GTAN) organization is hosting one of the largest entrepreneurial competitions in Southern Ontario this week. The event provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs to gain notoriety and grant funding for small business ventures in the Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and Stratford areas. The competition has narrowed down the competition to 8 finalists which have been chosen to present their business concepts in front of an audience that would include some of the largest venture capitalist firms in Canada. The contestant who is voted first will be awarded $50K in equity investments to help develop their business model.
