Western Canada Business Grants to Grow and Innovate Webinar

The event will tackle the most popular Western Canadian government funding grants and loans including purpose, timelines, eligibility, funding amount and coverage. After attending the session presented by Mentor Works’ Founder and President, Bernadeen McLeod, participants will also have an opportunity to follow-up via one-on-one sessions with Mentor Works in order to build their business funding strategy.

The event will focus on the abundance of Canadian government funding that is available to established businesses in Western Canada. The purpose of this business funding grants and loans information session is to inform its attendees on how to align their strategic initiatives with federal and provincial government funding programs.

In taking advantage of these business funding opportunities, Western Canadian businesses will be able to implement the adaptation of new technologies, new market expansion and integration, marketing initiatives, hiring, training, research and development, and expansion projects for large businesses.

The complimentary business funding information session will take place on April 7, 2015. Registration preference will be given to business owners.

Business Funding Eligibility

Most Canadian government funding requires the following criteria:

  • Incorporated in Canada for at least 2 years;
  • Not be a start-up;
  • To be able to demonstrate financial stability;
  • Not a retailer/distributor; and
  • The business must manufacture or conduct R&D in Canada.
