  • Designed to assist project assessment, definition, building construction, design, engineering, environmental assessment, production equipment, and all labor costs related to the above.

    • Amount: Capped at 40% of project costs, not to exceed $200M. Repayable from cash flow after project completion (not to exceed 6 years).
    • Timeline: Open.
    • Eligibility Factors: Must have demonstrated their technology on pilot scale using Canadian representative biomass. The funding is for Scale-up and Process Integration projects to prove out the near full or full-scale production plants technical and financial performance of technologies. Must be first-of-kind facility on a large demonstration scale.
