NOHFC Youth Internship and Co-op Program

    The Youth Internship and Coop Program, offered through NOHFC, provides young Northern Ontario residents with access to work placements and internships that will provide them with further opportunities to a successful career. Northern Ontario employers have the opportunity to train potential future employees for 12 months.

    Amount: For co-op placements: max 50% or $6/hour. For interns up to 90% or $27,500 annually for public sector or 50% for private sector or $27,500 annually.

    Timeline: Open

    Eligibility Factors: This program is open to private and public sector employers in a wide range of sectors including: healthcare, value-added manufacturing, social services, emerging technologies or environmental sciences.
