In order to help Canadian businesses adapt to the changes brought on by COVID-19, the Canadian federal and provincial governments have partnered with the Toronto Region Board of Trade to offer the Recovery Activation Program (RAP) to all businesses across Ontario.

The Recovery Activation Program (RAP) is a free online program designed to help you identify areas to adapt and modernize your business based on its needs.

This program will help you identify your digital needs, speak with a RAP program expert who will enroll you in a recommended RAP stream, and find resources such as webinars, blueprint programs, certification courses, and workshops.

About the Recovery Activation Program (RAP)

This program will take you through three steps to help maximize your business’s potential to thrive in the new business landscape:

Stage 1 – Digital Needs Assessment

In order to identify core gaps/competencies in your business’s online presence, you will need to complete an in-depth Digital Needs Assessment (DNA). This assessment will ask you various questions to learn about your business and takes roughly 25 minutes to complete. You can take your Digital Needs Assessment online for free.

Stage 2 – Course Curation

Based on the information provided in your DNA assessment, a RAP program expert will reach out to you with a recommended program steam to enroll you in. These program streams will help you restructure your business based on your digital maturity.

Stage 3 – Upskilling and Implementation

You will be invited to various workshops, webinars, and certificate programs led virtually by RAP partners and industry experts to help you plan your digital transformation.

Program Eligibility Requirements

In order to be eligible for the Recovery Activation Program (RAP), your business must meet the following criteria:

  • Be located in Ontario;
  • Have verified revenue streams;
  • Have a scalable business model;
  • Have an established product-market fit;
  • Have identified key needs around digital connectivity; and
  • Have ambition to undergo a digital transformation.

Apply for the Recovery Activation Program (RAP)

In order to apply for RAP, you must start by filling out your Digital Needs Assessment (DNA). If you would like to know more about this program, please visit the Recovery Activation Program (RAP) webpage on the Toronto Region Board of Trade website.
