On Thursday, March 9, 2019, Mentor Works is hosting a webinar for those interested in learning how to reach or expand export markets with government funding.

Joey Barnes from Export Development Canada (EDC) will join Mentor Works. EDC is Canada’s export credit agency, offering innovative commercial solutions to help Canadian exporters go, grow, and succeed internationally. EDC will provide a brief overview of how they can help Canadian exporters mitigate risks, enter new markets, assist with the growth of export sales, and partner with banks to access additional lending capacity and working capital.

Joey is the Strategic Alliances Director for Export Development Canada. Based out of the company’s Toronto offices, he represents EDC across all sectors and for all of EDC’s solutions. He provides Canadian companies with financing and risk management support, as well as market knowledge and credit advice. Joey is a graduate of University of Ottawa and has over 15 years’ experience with EDC in various credit management, underwriting, and business development roles.

Director of Program Development, Mentor Works Ltd.
