Mentor Works Canadian government funding presentation will introduce business owners and leaders from the manufacturing sector; showing how funding mechanisms work, explaining the online application process, walking through various eligibility criterion, and more. While accessing government funding may not always be easy, the process can be simplified –and Mentor Works can show you how. During their presentation, Mentor Works will introduce more than 30 of the most popular funding programs accessed by many of Ontario’s most successful SMEs from the food sector.

Alexandra (Alex) Barlow of Mentor Works draws upon her experience working for the Ontario provincial government where she managed a $40 million portfolio of infrastructure spending as well as her time spent working at a consulting agency dedicated to helping municipalities with their strategic economic development. Alex is a graduate of the University of Guelph where she receive a Master of Art degree in Political Science. Join Alex in Ottawa on June 17th to learn how to put government grants and loans to work for your business to fund new capital equipment expenditures, business expansion, research and development, productivity improvements, and hiring and training of employees.
