Corey is an alumnus of the University of Guelph’s Art History & Visual Culture program, where he honed his writing and research skills in pursuit of both his BA and MA. Corey’s academic interest centered around how the collecting of architectural fragments of the Middle Ages shapes our understanding of the historical period. His interest in situating individual artworks into the larger historical context aids his narrative building and storytelling when helping SMEs obtain funding support for their projects.

“The presence of the original is the prerequisite to the concept of authenticity.

In Corey’s spare time, he enjoys reading new publications on medieval architecture, watching sports and movies, and going on hikes with his dog, Billie.
