Jodre Datu
Senior Consultant, Government Grants
Jodre graduated with an MA in Creative and Critical Writing at the University of Gloucestershire and a BSc in Biomedical Toxicology at the University of Guelph. His background in science communications, creative writing, and copyediting has led him to various digital media roles combining the worlds of science and the arts. Now at Mentor Works, he is driven to tell the stories of organizations and businesses in hopes of building a more equitable economy for all.
Jodre manages editing for all blog content published by Mentor Works (since December, 2021), to ensure quality content and accuracy.
“One writes out of one thing only—one’s own experience. Everything depends on how relentlessly one forces from this experience the last drop, sweet or bitter, it can possibly give. This is the only real concern of the artist, to recreate out of the disorder of life that order which is art.”
― James Baldwin
In his spare time, Jodre can be seen trying to finish his own creative projects or hanging with friends. He is a lover of coming-of-age novels, superhero movies, and the Oxford comma.
