Marc Paquette

Consultant, Government Grants

Interested in government funding?

Marc obtained his BA and MA, both in Philosophy, at Wilfrid Laurier University. He wrote his graduate thesis on social media and its impact on human psychology, and mental health continues to be a subject he is passionate about. Although he is just beginning his professional journey in government funding, Marc’s studies fostered strong research and writing skills that he is eager to put to the test within the industry. As a Consultant with Mentor Works, Marc will have the opportunity to translate and share his client’s vision of their company and its future. Studying Philosophy has made him adept at seeing the big picture, anticipating challenges, and building persuasive arguments – abilities that are sure to help clients obtain funding from government run programs.

“It is curious that physical courage should be so common in the world and moral courage so rare”

Mark Twain

When he is not working, Marc enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading books on Psychology, going to the gym, and taking long walks. He strongly believes that it is okay to enjoy yacht rock before the age of 40, and that every man should have themselves a good cry on occasion. He enjoys pina coladas and conversations about feelings. He has never had a pedicure, but is definitely open to it.
