Discover 11 Focuses on Commercializing Innovations

In a couple of weeks, the Ontario Centres of Excellence will hold a two-day conference, hosting hundreds of exhibitors, as well as world-class keynote speakers and attractions all focused on developing for the future. The event hopes to network like-minded individuals, encourage innovation, and showcase the latest research and development projects and industry trends.

Innovations bear heavy research and development costs, which leaves little budget for the commercialization of new innovation. However, the Canadian Federal Government offers several funding options to help small businesses commercialize their new findings and technologies through funding mechanisms like the Applied Research & Commercialization Initiative, CONII, MaRS, and the Ontario Centres of Excellence.

When: May 18-19, 2011
