Event: Accelerating the Growth of Canadian Food Processors – April 25

Food and beverage processing is Canada’s second largest manufacturing sector, accounting for 17% of the country’s annual manufacturing shipments. With more than 190 countries serving as export destinations for these products, Canadian firms are well positioned for international growth. With foreign demand continuing to increase, businesses should take advantage of new opportunities becoming available.

Fortunately for food manufacturers seeking advice during this process, an upcoming free workshop will be quite beneficial. The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) has partnered with Mentor Works to co-host an informative presentation and networking event.

Accelerating the Growth of Canadian Food Processors will take place at the Descendants Beer & Beverage Co. in Kitchener, Ontario on April 25, 2017 from 4-6pm. Attendees will learn how to expand company cash flow and integrate innovative manufacturing processes. In addition, business owners will be introduced to some of the most popular government funding programs.
