Attend Trovo Resources’ Workshop in Kitchener, Explore Funding with Mentor Works

Canadian businesses in and around the region of Kitchener-Waterloo should mark their calendars for an exciting funding event. On February 18, Bernadeen McLeod, President & Owner of Mentor Works, will help businesses discover government grants and loans on both the federal and provincial levels. Funding exists for a wide variety of funding initiatives, including business expansion, capital investment, HR & training, and research & development. Trovo Resources will also explore accounting support services, including temporary accounting resourcing, project consulting, and providing full-time permanent accounting support within organizations.

Speaker: Bernadeen McLeod, President & Owner of Mentor Works Ltd.

Bernadeen McLeod leads Mentor Works, the Canadian Government Funding Experts. Since 2008, Bernadeen has helped businesses explore funding grants and loans provided by federal and provincial government bodies. In her presentation, attendees will learn the details of funding grants and loans available to them for a wide variety of strategic initiatives including export expansion, training, hiring, capital equipment, business expansion, R&D, marketing, and technology adoption. Her keynote will explain who is eligible, how to access the funds, and how to ensure that your project timelines and impacts align with the program’s objectives.

Speaker: Tony Pace, CPA, CA Managing Director of Trovo Resources

Tony Pace has 15 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance across various industries including: Insurance, Manufacturing, Technology, and Public Accounting.

Tony has held various positions during his career including: Senior Auditor, Director of Finance, and Account Executive. Tony started his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young LLP before moving into industry accounting positions culminating in a Director of Finance Role with Snow Bear Ltd. He was then recruited as an Account Executive by a large international recruitment firm where he specialized in placing individuals into mid to senior level interim and contract positions, as well as full-time permanent positions. Tony has always had a strong entrepreneurial spirit with him, and along with a passion for the resourcing business, decided to create his own firm call Trovo Resources Inc. Now Tony specializes in recruitment for Accounting and Finance positions with Trovo Resources Inc. Tony graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He has also obtained his Chartered Accountant designation.
