Reconnect Ontario Marquee Event Fund
Receive up to 50% of Eligible Costs in Funding Support.
Organizers and municipalities in Ontario can use the Reconnect Ontario Marquee Event Fund to host large-scale, high-impact events that meet the ministry’s definition of marquee events. This fund covers expenses related to the planning and production of Marquee Events, advertising campaigns targeted at tourists (above 40 kilometers), event security, and accessibility services.

Applicants may receive up to 50% of eligible project expenses with no official maximum contribution.

Eligible Applicants
Applicants may be eligible for this program if they meet these criteria:
- Is a legal entity for over one year as of application submission date;
- Has a Canadian bank account at a Canadian financial institution;
- Ontario municipalities that host major events as their tourism strategy; and
- For-profit or non-profit organizations with event management or hosting within their mandate.

- Media buys;
- Event security; and
- Accessibility.

Program Deadline
This program is open with no formal deadline. However, applications must be submitted at least four months prior to event start date.
