The Tourism Development Fund (TDF) helps not-for-profit organizations and municipalities to invest in developing new tourism services, tourism investment attraction, and industry capacity building.

  • Amount: Non-repayable fund of up to 50% of total eligible costs. No maximum.
  • Timeline: Ongoing Intake. Application should be submitted 4 months prior to start date. Project duration is typically one year.
  • Eligibility: Ontario Tourism Association, Not-for-Profit Organizations, Municipalities, National and/or Provincial Sector Association operating for minimum one year.
  • Projects: Supports innnovative tourism projects that develop new tourism services, tourism investment attraction and industry capacity building.
