NGen Workforce Transformation Program

NGen’s new program is designed to help manufacturers identify their needs for growth, develop custom roadmaps, and execute on strategic plans. The Workforce Transformation program provides leadership teams with an extremely affordable and high-value opportunity to participate together in learning and assessment workshops that provide them with useful information to develop strategic plans.

Funding Amount

Organizations will receive a training and upskilling package valued at $15,500 that will cost the organization only $2,500.

Eligible Applicants

Businesses that are in the manufacturing industry may apply. This program is available for up to 300 manufacturers.

Eligible Activities

Training is provided across a broad range of topics such as: Health and Safety; Supply Chain Management; Leadership; Carbon Strategies; and Digital Literacy. More details available below.

Amount of Funding

Applicants will pay $1,500 for the Transformation Leadership Program, which normally costs $7,500.
Up to 80% reimbursement on upskilling training to a maximum reimbursement of $8,000 and skills assessments and upskilling supports worth an additional $3,000.
Overall, organizations will receive a package valued at $15,500 that will cost the organization only $2,500.

The program consists of 4 stages:

Engagement:

Leadership teams participate in the core learning modules of NGen’s Technology Leadership Program.

Up to 12 members of your leadership team attend NGen’s TLP Sessions.
Sessions include: Reality Check + Strategy, Customer Centric, Leading Change, Advanced Leadership, Workforce 4.0, Industry 4.0, Supply Chain Management, Circular Manufacturing, Carbon Strategies, New Product and Process Intro, etc.

Planning:

Benchmark your business practices vs. world class companies.

Training:

Select key members of your workforce to undergo upskilling through AMP UP.

Members of your workforce undergo training to meet the needs identified during the leadership team TLP sessions.
NGen partners with academic institutions, companies and organizations to provide training on a wide range of skills including: health and safety, specialized technical skills, innovation leadership, literacy fundamentals, digital skills.

Testing:

Complete skills assessment before and after training to assess impact.
