Eligible Applicants

A BC Hydro Key Account Manager (KAM) is assigned to the account. During the pre-screening phase, the project must demonstrate that it has the potential to implement measures at a single facility that will lead to at least 1,200 tC02e of reduction in lifetime energy consumption. There must be a building in the BC Hydro service territory, which includes New Westminster, to be eligible for this program.

In order for a project to qualify as an energy measure, it must meet the following criteria:

  • As a result, measurable and verifiable energy impacts can be achieved;
  • It will result in energy impacts that can be estimated using standard engineering calculations as a result of the project; and
  • Include a technology that is not included in other utility DSM programs, such as FortisBC’s Commercial Performance Program, which is not covered by other DSM programs.
