Celebrate Ontario Blockbuster (COB) Program
Covering up to 20% of eligible large festival costs.
The Celebrate Ontario Blockbuster (COB) program supports Ontario municipalities and organizations by relieving some of the financial stress of hosting large events that meet the ministry’s definition of a Blockbuster Event.
Successful applicants may have up to 20% of total event operating expenses returned through the COB program as non-repayable funding.
Municipalities, as well as for-profit and non-profit event management organizations incorporated for ≥1 year with no outstanding debts to government institutions.
Public Ontario events without any need for a membership. An organization can have a maximum of two applications and no more than one application per event.
Deadline to Apply
This program has an ongoing intake. Applications must be submitted at least four months prior to the event start date.
