How to Whitelist an Email

Here’s How You Can Whitelist @ryan.com emails

Since Mentor Works has joined the Ryan family, we’ve transitioned our teams emails from @mentorworks.ca domains to @ryan.com domains. In order to prevent you from missing emails from our team, we strongly encourage you to whitelist our new email domain.

Whitelist an Email in Outlook

When you receive an email from one of our team members using their @ryan.com email domains, please follow these steps:

If you haven’t received any emails from @ryan.com emails yet, you can use the steps outlined in the Create A Whitelist Rule in Outlook 365 section below.

  1. Right click on the email in your junk folder
  2. Navigate down to “Junk” and click the right arrow
  3. Click “Never Block Sender’s Domain (@example.com)”

Please be sure to check your junk mail folder for missed emails from @ryan.com team members.

Whitelist Emails

Whitelist in Outlook 365

If you haven’t received any emails from an @ryan.com email address, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to outlook.office365.com and sign in
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner, then hit “View all Outlook settings” in the bottom right corner
  3. Navigate to Mail > Rules > Create new Rule
  4. Name the rule
  5. Under “Add a Condition” select “Sender address includes” then type “@ryan.com”
  6. Under “Add an action” select “Move to” in the dropdown list, then select “Inbox”
  7. Click “Save” in the bottom right corner

Once this rule has been set up, it will work on both the web version of Outlook and the desktop/mobile Outlook apps.

Whitelist an Email in Gmail

Whitelisting an email domain requires a few more steps, however it can be done in 30 seconds or less with the following steps:

  1. Click on the “Show search options” button to the right of the search bar
  2. Add “@ryan.com” to the “From” field
  3. Click “Create filter”
  4. Click the checkbox beside “Never send it to Spam”
  5. Click “Create filter”

Our emails may end up in your junk mail depending on your companies security settings. Please be sure to check your junk mail folder for missed emails from @ryan.com team members.
