In 2015, Ontario’s meat product manufacturing sector provided nearly $2.2 billion in GDP, or 6% of the province’s agri-food industry revenue. But despite this contribution, there is still potential to improve profitability and drive greater value. Ontario meat processors have growth opportunities available, the key is knowing where to look.
The Ontario Independent Meat Processors (OIMP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the competitiveness and profitability of Ontario’s meat industry. OIMP hosts educational industry events and workshops, such as its Industry Day and Annual General Meeting (AGM) where industry professionals can network and learn about important industry challenges and best practices.
OIMP’s Industry Day and AGM will be held on April 20, 2017. Register for OIMP Industry Day today.
OIMP’s Industry Day provides meat and poultry producers, processors, suppliers, and retailers an opportunity to exchange innovative ideas and establish valuable business relationships. This is an event that should not be missed by any business established in Ontario’s meat and poultry processing industry.
