The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) supports new business ventures and provides new small business owners with post-launch resources that will help these entrepreneurs remain focused and maintain a long-term success.
Post-Launch Resources Overview
There are several resources the CYBF provides new entrepreneurs:
- Business Resources: There are many great tips and information on the Online Business Resource Centre. This section is frequently updated and covers various topics that can be beneficial at any stage of your business.
- Entrepeer: To help new entrepreneurs address challenges and opportunities that may arise; CYBF offers a peer-to-peer networking and mentoring initiative for young entrepreneurs, partners, mentors, and volunteers. This vital information can be exchanged through networking events, the online community, e-newsletter and affinity program.
- Monthly loan repayments: Each month entrepreneurs will need to make payments on your loans with CYBF and the Business Development Bank of Canada. It is critical that these loan repayments are made in accordance with your financing agreement to maintain your funding position.
- Status updates: Every three months, CYBF will contact each entrepreneur to gain an update on their business and how you are benefiting from your mentor. These updates take 10 minutes to complete and allow entrepreneur’s to reflect on their business over the past three months.
