Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) Awards $100k in Grants to Pan-Oston Ltd.
Ontario manufacturer, Pan-Oston Ltd., has been awarded up to $100,000 in Ontario small business grants to create new jobs at its facility in Peterborough. The Government of Ontario’s investment will also allow the business to generate a network of manufacturers to attract new clients to the region area by highlighting the variety of available products and services.
The Eastern Ontario Development Program covers up to 100% of project costs to a maximum $100,000 in Ontario government grants. Ontario government funding can be used to support facility expansion investments, capital equipment costs, workforce skills development, and productivity enhancements. All EODP funded projects must promote the growth of businesses within rural eastern Ontario communities.
Upon the project’s completion, Pan-Oston Ltd. will generate and sustain a total of 35 full-time jobs, create a local network of manufacturers, increase company capabilities, and attract new consumer investments.

Pan-Oston Ltd. manufacturers a range of retail fixtures, such as displays, counters, lighting, and office furniture. The company was established in 1962, has a total of 95 employees, and is headquartered in Peterborough, Ontario.
FedDev’s Eastern Ontario Development Program has awarded the company $100,000 in Ontario small business grants to expand its workforce by investing in skilled labourers. In addition, Pan-Oston’s executives plan to use the funding to create a network of local manufacturers to promote the region’s products and services. By doing so, the company will boost its production capabilities and market competitiveness.
This expansion project will allow Pan-Oston Ltd. to create 35 new full-time positions at its facility in Peterborough, Ontario. The company’s innovative product bundle approach will help create strategic partnerships, increase business competitiveness, and boost sales revenues.
