Market Readiness Grant Commercializes Innovations
Ontario Centres of Excellence has designed a program called Market Readiness to support the development of commercial applications for technology manufactured within Ontario’s universities, colleges and research hospitals. The primary objects is to advance technology for the next stage of commercialization – the transfer to an existing company, or the creation of a new enterprise. This program allows the transfer by supporting activities such as technology and market assessment, IP protection, prototype development, business plan development and others. This program has funding in the form of a grant, with funds reaching a maximum of $75,000.
What is Eligible for this Canadian Grant?
Any intellectual property developed at an Ontario college, university or research hospital is eligible for funding from this program.
