Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation Funding Supports Software Startup in Sudbury

The Government of Ontario has awarded over $400,000 in small business grants to TimeHero Inc. The investment will allow the company to develop an innovative scheduling app to help other businesses manage their time and become more efficient.

The contribution will be provided through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC), which supports economic development in northern Ontario. The program provides up to 50% coverage of project costs to a maximum $1 million in Ontario government funding. The program supports projects that have the potential to attract new investments, create jobs, and increase businesscompetitiveness.

If successful, this project will help TimeHero Inc. increase its market presence/competitiveness and demonstrate innovation within the software industry. NOHFC’s government funding support will also allow the company to establish eight new jobs at its location in Sudbury, Ontario.

Ontario Government Funding Aids Innovative Software Development Project

TimeHero Inc. is a startup tech development firm located in Sudbury, Ontario. The company specializes in the design and development of mobile applications for business and project management.

NOHFC’s $417,410 investment will allow the company to develop an app that helps businesses improve scheduling and project management tasks through real-time work plans. The software will be able to determine when team members can work on tasks based on their current capacity and availability. This software will make it easier for businesses to plan and delegate responsibilities more efficiently.

Since 2013, NOHFC funding has supported a total of 536 projects and 1,370 jobs in Sudbury, Ontario.

Once complete, the application will use artificial intelligence to manage projects, automatically creates a real-time task plans, and identifies when to work on important tasks. This technology will allow the app’s users to increase their productivity and manage time more efficiently. In addition, this project will allow TimeHero Inc. to create eight new jobs in Sudbury, Ontario.
