The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) has issued a new call for applications for the OMDC Interactive Digital Media Fund (IDM).

The Purpose of Ontario Government Grants Offered through the OMDC Interactive Digital Media Fund

The OMDC Interactive Digital Media Fund was created with the purpose of providing companies that provide Ontario Interactive digital media access to the final piece of funding required to move their content projects into production.  Recipients of Ontario government funding through IDM will receive a non-refundable contribution of up to $250,000 (max 50% project costs) to help them create market-ready interactive digital media content.

Project Types Supported through OMDC IDM Government Grants Ontario

It is anticipated that the OMDC IDM Fund will support a variety of different projects from a range of genres, delivery platforms and budgets.  Those projects believed to deliver cultural and or industrial benefits will receive special consideration.  OMDC will also consider the impact of the project on Ontario job creation and retention, as well as level of expenditures taking place in Ontario.
