Please Note: Export Market Access is now closed and not accepting further applications. For trade show grants and other forms of export support, learn more about the CanExport program.

If you are a follower of our blog, you have probably heard about a previous Export Market Access Closing Date for event funding in the first quarter of 2012.  We have recently received word from the Export Market Access Homepage  that they are currently accepting applications for projects that take place prior to June 30, 2012.

Small Business Funding for Global Market Expansion

The Export Market Access program is a small business funding grant that acts as a non-repayable grant to help Canadian SMEs gain notoriety in their global markets. The projects funded by this program should be aimed towards the improvement and development your company’s foreign market sales and contracts. This program provides a non-repayable grant up to $50k or 50% of a project. These funds will help to cover the costs such as wages, plain tickets, and trade show expenditures to help your business expand into global markets.

Application Information

As mentioned before, the Export Market Access is currently accepting applications for trade shows whose spend ends on or before June 30, 2012. Businesses must apply at least 30 business days before their first project expenditures.
