Export Market Access Program

  • Through FedDev Ontario, small and medium sized enterprises will be able to improve their position in global markets with focus on two trade missions – one to China and Hong Kong, and one to India.

    With the further investment of funding of $1.6M, the extension to the EMA program will provide up to 50% of a project’s eligible costs to a maximum of $30,000 per project. Activities include:

    • International trade shows, fairs and exhibits
    • Marketing Tools for foreign audiences to market the applicant’s products
    • Market Reserch to target precise international markets
    • Bidding on foreign projects against foreign competition

    SME’s must have between 5-500 full-time employees with goods and services produced in Ontario plus greater than $500k in annual sales. Applications are submitted on-line and are accessed through Export Access.
